I have been trying to negotiate a deal on a used BX2200 from an individual (not a dealer). His price is firm at $11,000 for one with 170 hours, 60" deck (just bought to help the sale, never used), LA211 loader, and a 42" tiller. I could certainly use the implements, but a little hesitant about the price.

Any comments on the price? Can't find any NADA-type guides... should I continue looking for a better deal? Maybe look at a JD?

Try this web site. Based on the info there he is asking almost new prices.

With 170 hours of homeowners use I am guessing the warranty has expired. He needs to come down or you can add a few hundred and get a warranty and zero percent interest. ....

I was just looking at a similar configuration and at my local dealer, they were quoting about $11K for the BX2200 + 60" deck, and an additional $2900 for the loader. I hadn't asked for the tiller pricing, yet.

Hope this is helpful.
